Product Analytics Dashboard
Understanding your product's forecast, inventory, and turnover metrics
The analytics dashboard helps you make data-driven decisions about inventory management by providing three key views: Forecast, Inventory Levels, and Inventory Turnover.
Dashboard Overview
Product Header
At the top of the dashboard, you'll find:
- Product name and SKU
- Warehouse location
- Hot/Cold item toggle for priority tracking
Three Main Views
1. Forecast View
Shows demand prediction and historical data:
- Blue line: Historical demand
- Green line: Forecasted demand
- Shaded area: Forecast confidence range
- Monthly breakdown for the next year
2. Inventory Levels
Tracks stock levels over time:
- Blue bars: Current stock levels
- Red bars: Below reorder point
- Lighter bars: Projected inventory
- Red dashed line: Reorder point threshold
You can switch between daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly views to analyze different time periods.
3. Inventory Turnover
Monitors inventory efficiency:
- Orange line: Actual turnover rate
- Green dashed line: Target turnover rate
- Monthly tracking for optimization
Key Metrics
The dashboard displays four critical numbers:
- Current Stock: Available inventory
- Reorder Point: Minimum stock threshold
- Sales Velocity: Units sold per day
- Days Left: Time until reorder point
When stock approaches the reorder point, the system will highlight this in red to prompt action.
Actions
A "Stock Replenishment" button is available when inventory needs attention, making it easy to create new purchase orders based on the analytics.
